Matrana’s Produce operates at the highest standards for food safety and quality assurance. Matrana's is currently operating a 40,000 sq. ft. refrigerated facility which has nine (9) separate climate controlled rooms. We have six (6) coolers to ensure freshness. Our receiving dock consists of three (3) bays, while our large shipping area consisting of six (6) bays.
Matrana’s Produce is equipped with two large generators that are capable of running 100% of the entire facility in the case that power fails during an emergency. This ensures that the cold chain regulations are met during the entire receiving, shipping, and distribution process during irregular events.
Also, Matrana’s also has its own 6,000-gallon fuel tank on the premises, which allows the company to be self-sufficient in any crisis situation.
Matrana’s operational practices meet and often succeed mandated guidelines. We are in compliance with three government guidelines, OSHA, D.O.T., and Food Safety. Matrana’s is third party audited by Primus GFS Azzule, which includes food safety management systems, GMP Program, and HACCP system.
